Tips and Tricks when using Desktop Live Wallpaper+

1. Use slow footage background
If you want to use video as a desktop background, a good idea is to choose slow footage videos, ideally slow motion videos.
Even without sound it is most of the time the best choice. Choose slow motion footages and let them play the one after the ather.
Mix a lot different footages around the same topic that matches your style.
2. Prefer max 20sec footages
A general idea: If you want to use video as a desktop background, a good tip is to choose short length videos, ideally less than 20seconds each.
Usually, all worlwide collections that have video wallpaper, (especially the footages) provide short lenght videos. The most important reason is that these type of videos have a general, aeshetic view of a specific topic, either it is a drone captured footages of beautiful mountains or sea view / beach view like footages, etc.
Thus, choose short length videos (10-20 seconds), slow if you can find such, and use them all similar together in the same video set. Mix them with photos from the same topic and with a short threshold for photo transition (e.g. 8 seconds).
3. For photos, select a very low threshold to switch media
If you want to use photos instead of videos for desktop background, again the Desktop Live Wallpaper+ application is way more interesting than using the same photos from the original Windows 10/11 setting.
The main reason is that Desktop Live Wallpaper+ creates on-the-fly, during application running, a very unique video effect mix of the two photos, to tranform the desktop from one photo to another.
There are more than 40 different Video Effects available. From your position just select the photos you want and select a time threshold very very low, like e.g. 6 seconds (the app's minimum threshold).
4. Use the same set of photos a lot of times (!)
Continuing from the above idea, If you choose your 5-6 favourite photos to use as desktop background, just add them once, then click on "Add+", choose the same photos again, then again "Add+", the same set etc.
This way the app will create 4 or 5 different video effect transitions for the same pair of photos, so even you have a time threshold of 6 seconds with 5 photos (for example), the whole duration for the first set will be 5x6=30 seconds, plus the transitions for each pair, 6x2=12 seconds, in total 42 seconds. If choose the same set 4-5 times, you will end up with over 4 minutes of your favourite photos with 32 beautiful video transition effects.
